FRUIT and VEGETABLES VOCABULARY

¿Cómo se organiza un docente para enseñar vocabulario en lengua inglesa?

 Muchas son las formas y como bien podéis comprobar, en mi ley de vida y forma de enseñanza Nada es excepcional ni existe una única metodología...  De ahí el nacimiento de este blog a modo de mi portfolio de evidencias educativas.

A continuación, os comparto una actividad realizada a través de la metodología AICLE o CLIL( en su versión inglesa):

Giuseppe Arcimboldo: Collage with fruit and vegetables.

WHAT YOU NEEED
  • Markers
  • Pencil
  • Rubber
  • Glue stick
  • Scissors
  • Old magazines
  • Imagination


WHAT YOU DO

First: Teach yur students to LOVE LEARNING.

 In this activity,we discovered Giuseppe Arcimboldo and watched this fantastic video.
 My students were fascinated by this special painter.


Second: Get them involved in activities.

Then, students cut pictures of fruit and vegetables from magazines and drew a self portrait.  Finally they sticked all the fruit and vegetables before saying to me all the vocabulary! (Teachers can help them with the words and write a special vocabulary  list).

Soon, students learnt that fruit and vegetables they were sticking have associated values and imporant vocabulary for their  daily life.
